2024 Tryout Outside Scrimmage Procedure
Greetings Parents and Players!
Congratulations on making it through the first two portions of the tryout process. We are so happy to have everyone back at the rink and look forward to finishing up the tryout process to get started! A couple notes for Saturday and Sunday scrimmages-
- Initial pool play rosters will be posted using the Tryout Engine Parent Portal after school on Friday, October 4th. Pool play rosters will be posted by jersey number and age level.
SQUIRTS ONLY-
- ABOUT 15-16 players and 2-3 goalies will be invited to the A Pool Scrimmage on Saturday, 10/5 from 10:10-11:10am at Chisago Lakes Arena. ALL players in this scrimmage will either make the Squirt A or Squirt B1 team, and do NOT have to participate in Sunday's B1 Pool Scrimmage.
- ABOUT 12-13 players and 1-2 goalies will be invited to the B1 Pool Scrimmage on Sunday, 10/6 from 10:10-11:10am at Chisago Lakes Arena. From there, the remaining B1 spots will be chosen.
** Any players NOT on the B1 Pool or A Pool list are on the C team, and do not play in either scrimmage. Their first practice is Tuesday, 10/8 at 7:20pm.
PEEWEE/BANTAM ONLY-
- ABOUT 15-18 skaters and 1-3 goalies will attend the A Pool Scrimmage on Saturday, 10/5 from 11:20am-12:20pm (PW) or 12:30-1:30pm (Bantam) at Chisago Lakes Arena.
- From there, the top 8-10 players will be "locked" onto the A team, and do NOT return for the Sunday scrimmage. The players who are not "locked" will return Sunday for the B2 scrimmage, and will be notified by 5pm on 10/5.
** Any players returning for the B2 scrimmage can still make the A team, and are still being evaluated at the B2 scrimmage.
- The remaining players from the A Pool and the initial B2 Pool will participate in the Sunday, 10/6 Scrimmage at either 11:20am-12:20pm (PW) or 12:30-1:30pm (Bantam) at Chisago Lakes Arena.
- Final rosters will be posted on the Parent Portal within 24 hours of the final scrimmages at that age level, with the exception of the A Squirt roster, which will be posted within 24 hours of the A Squirt Scrimmage on 10/5.
Please remember to respect and adhere to the 24 hour rule throughout the entire process, and understand your messages sent within 24 hours will not be responded to until 24 hours is up. Please let us know if you have any questions.
